Casa das Penhas Douradas Design Hotel and Spa is located in Serra da Estrela, in Penhas Douradas, right next to the Chapel of Nossa Senhora da Estrela. There is a helipad 50 meters from the hotel. Penhas Douradas is a small town "above" Manteigas, about 12 km from that town, on the EN 232, which connects Manteigas to Gouveia.
